






Examination in Business German International (PWD)
"Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch International" (PWD) is an internationally recognized test given by Carl Duisberg Centren, the Goethe Institute and the German Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industries. The exam is carried out around the world according to unified standards and is recognized by employers in many countries as proof of an advanced level of business language skills. By taking the Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch International exam, the participants prove that they are able to make precise use of the German language both in its written and spoken form within the framework of their work and their business environment. The level of the PWD exam is between the levels B2 and C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (GER).

- Understanding written texts
Texts used in the communication in and between companies, understanding economic and business texts. - Understanding spoken texts
Dialogs and telephone conversations e.g. inner company reporting, trade fair preparations, radio broadcasts on current economic and business topics, writing a summary of a text you have heard. - Writing skills
Writing a business letter. - Oral communications
Presenting yourself, presenting a company, arguing and negotiating in a business situation
