Where to Stay During Your Studies

The Carl Duisberg Training Center Berlin offers you a top-flight German course and – if you wish – carefully selected lodgings as well. You have the choice between private lodgings (host family or a shared apartment), a youth hostel and an apartment.

We select all of the lodgings personally, with you in mind – and with great care. Since our lodgings are conveniently located, the Carl Duisberg Training Center Berlin can conveniently be reached from all parts of the city by public transportation.

Host Family

You will be housed in an apartment or in a house with a yard with a family, a couple or with a single mother and her child. Your hosts are residents of Berlin who happily rent their furnished rooms regularly to our course participants from all over the world. The guest rooms can be reserved with breakfast or half-board. During your stay, you will have ample opportunity to speak German with your hosts, and to get to know the German way of life.

Shared Apartment

In a shared-apartment arrangement, you will be provided with a furnished room of your own. You will share the kitchen and bathroom with your fellow residents and prepare your own meals. Your hosts are working singles, housewives or students and are between 25 and 60 years of age. In a shared apartment, you will have contact with Berlin residents and an opportunity to speak German, and yet you can move about freely and independently and may come and go as you wish.

Youth Hostel

In a youth hostel, single rooms, each with its own shower/WC are available, as are single rooms with shower/WC located in the hallway (common showers). Some youth hostels offer a shared kitchen along with a washing machine. Since youth hostels are frequently fully booked during the peak season, we kindly request that you make your reservation/registration early.

Apartment

Small, furnished room, services:

We would be pleased to reserve a hotel room for you if you wish. The price varies depending on the location, category and season. Please inquire with us!
